Office of the President

The Special Assistant and Secretary to the Board is a senior-level position reporting directly to the President and serving as a member of the President’s Senior Cabinet.


The Special Assistant and Secretary to the Board serves as Secretary to the Board of Directors and supports the Office of the President with special projects and strategy.


The Special Assistant serves as the initial lead on special projects, as assigned by the Office of the President, transitioning them from concept into an actionable plan and identifying risks, capacity needs, and opportunities. The Special Assistant supports the President in the development and strategic planning efforts for the President's Initiatives.


The Secretary to the Board is the custodian of and responsible for the safekeeping and maintenance of all official records, Board resolutions, minutes, contracts, and other formal documents and records of the Board. The Secretary supports the Board in all governance functions, from recruitment, nominations, and board meeting management.
