SCHOLARSHIPS

PROGRAM

Valley Scholars College Initiative empowers Central Valley students in their pursuit of higher education through the disbursement of scholarships.

This year, Valley Scholars College Initiative is administering three scholarships: the President's Award, the Black Student Award, and the Latinx Student Award. Each scholarship will amount to $500 and will be disbursed to the individual student upon verification of full-time enrollment.

APPLY
ELIGIBILITY

Our organization aims to support students within four target populations (high-achieving, at-promise, identity-specific, and low-income students) from the Stanislaus County region of the Central Valley.

For the President's Award, applicants must:

  1. Be a graduating high school senior that attends a Stanislaus County high school

  2. Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited, non-profit, two- or four-year university, in the US, for 2022-2023

  3. Identify with one of our four target populations.

For the Black Student Award, applicants must:

  1. Be a graduating high school senior that attends a Stanislaus County high school

  2. Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited, non-profit, two- or four-year university, in the US, for 2022-2023

  3. Identify as a Black or African American student.

For the Latinx Student Award, applicants must:

  1. Be a graduating high school senior that attends a Stanislaus County high school

  2. Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited, non-profit, two- or four-year university, in the US, for 2022-2023

  3. Identify as a Latinx student.
